The career day is the most important part of
a school programme. A school without
this celebration is like a flower without perfume.Like every year,this year we
celebrate career day with great zeal on 12th January . It is a birth
day of Swami VIvekanand.The function was celebrated in the school campus. The
chief guest of this function was Shree R.K.Singaniya . Guardians of the students and VIPs of town
were invited to attend this function.The principal sir and staff warmly greeted
them. A group of girls sang a welcome
song. A patriotic performance was given by students.There were many competition
like charts ,speeches,poems etc organised .
The chief guest gave a short but valuable
speech.The Principal sir and teachers
were also give information about career and told value of career day
.All the winners were awarded by chief guest . The Principal sir thanked to all
. The function ended with national anthem .
Independence Day Function

hoisting . A group of girls sang a
welcome song. A patriotic performance was given by students. Many cultural
programmes were performed by students .

S.U.P.W.Camp

The SUPW
Camp is the most important part of a school programme. A school without this social work is like a flower
without perfume.Like every year,this year the camp was organised from 10th
December to 14 December .It was a five
days camp. The camp started with flag hoisting .First day all the students were
divided into five groups and each group was named. Firstly we cleaned our school campus,class
rooms ,and many public places .Many competitions were organised like long jump,
high jump,quiz competition ,musical chair ,gubbara fod ,spoon race rassa
khinchi etc.Girls designed Mahndi and
Rangoli.Our group won Rangoli competition.The principal sir told value of SUPW
camp in student life and said that social work is important work of every
person.Last day we visited historical places of our town . All the winners and toppers were awarded by The Principal sir . The Principal sir thanked to all and
declared the completion of camp.
District Level Cricket Tournament

Last week
,the district level Cricket tournament was hold in our school.It is a five days
tournament.The tournament started with flag hoisting. Twenty five teams from
different schools participated in this tournament . Opening match was played
between Indrapura and Sitapura.After that
many interesting matches were played . All the players were strong,fresh
energetic and looked smart The players were playing well. There was a big
crowed of students and people who were cheering the players.The final match was
played between Govt.high sec. School
,Kathoti and Govt. High sec. School, Bari Khatu. The match was very interesting.At
last Kathoti team won this match.
The tournament ended with prize distribution

Visit
to a Book Fair

Last week , a grand book fair was
held in GPS School.The fair was started with flag hoisting . Almost 55 book shop were installed by students and about 1000 books
were sold in the fair.
There were many useful books like English
grammar, Hindi grammar , science books ,Maps books ,Computer books, stories books ,quiz books ,History books,
Food and recipes books ,How to learn yoga and Why we fear in dark etc . We
could also buy second-hand books in the fair.
There were a big crowd of students,teachers
and guardians . Students were looked
happy because some were earning
good deal of money to sell books and some were happy to buy books . Every one
was enjoying the fair . I also enjoyed it . I bought some books for me and my
sister . Every one praised the
fair.
The
Road Accident

Yesterday I
was returning from school at 4.00 P.M. I was walking along the pavement A tonga
was going with a few passengers riding on it. All of a sudden a car came from
the opposite side. It blew horn. The horse got frightened and ran aside. A bus
was coming behind and hit the tonga. The tonga turned down. One of the
passengers came under it and died instantly. The other three were badly injured
. The tonga driver too passed out. Some people took the injured to the
hospital. The bus was stopped and the driver was caught by the local people. It
created a furore which turned into a traffic jam. People started a
demonstration . The authorities tried to calm the people . The home minister
visited the site. He announced the relief for the dead man and the injured.
After that the jam was cleared.
A Free Medical Camp

Last
week , a free medical check-up camp was organised in our village . The camp was organised by lion club . Many
doctors and Nurses extended their services . they performed their duties
efficiently . There was a large crowed of patients . social workers and
volunteers offered their services . Free medicines were given to the patients .
free food and fruits were given to the patients by NGOs of the village . About
125 patients were checked and cured .
the camp was a great success.
Quiz Competition /Contest

A
quiz competition was held in ABC Sen. Sec. School Nagaur on 10 December 2016
.The Competition was held between X and XII class. There were many different quiz questions for each team . five
questions were answered in five minutes . it was a tough competition between
the participating teams . our principal sir and two other teachers were judge
of this competition. The competition was played in Hindi Medium . Almost
Fifteen rounds were played between the teams At last Class X won this
competition . The winner were awarded by Principal sir.
Robbery in a
Bank

Last week PNB was robbed . A blue colored van stopped at the gate. There were around eight robbers in it. Their were
around eight robbers in it . Their faces were covered with masks . All of them
had guns in their hands. They entered the bank. One of them hit the guard on
his head. The guard fell down . His head was bleeding. They threatened to shoot
anyone who tried to raise an alarm. They
locked the staff in a room. Then they compelled the manager to open the cash
locker. They filled the money into bags and quickly ran out of the bank.
Everybody stood stunned. Then they drove the car at a high speed and
disappeared.
The police is searching for the robbers . But no clue has been found of the
robbers so far. It is reported that they looted more than five lac rupees.
An
Election Scene

India is a democratic country and election is
the backbone of democracy. It is a method through which we choose a candidate
by vote as our representative for a political post or office.
During
the last elections of Lok Sabha I witnessed the scene of election.There were
many polling station. My school was one of them. At the each polling station
there was a great crowed of people. The rival parties had pitched their tents
at some distance from the polling station. The polling began at 8 a.m. The
polling was rather slow in the morning. There were long queues at the booths. From noon to 2 p.m. polling again
slow. It became pace at about 3 p.m.
Arrangements at the polling booths were excellent. A few cases of
impersonation were detected . They were handed to Police . The polling was over
at 5 p.m. The ballot boxes were sealed in presence of the agents. Then they
were sent to the district head quarters for counting. It was a joyful day for
me .For the success of democracy we must have election.
A Students’Strike

The students
of ABC Sen Sec School went on a strike on 25 February. They were demanding
better facilities in games and sports. A large number of students assembled in
front of the school with banners. They raised slogans in support of their
demand. After some time they became agitated. They entered the school building
and damaged furniture and other things of the school. Considering the situation
tense, the Principle suspended the classes. At last he called the leaders of
the students for negotiation. The strike has been called off.
